• 10 points for an application over $3000

Weeks 7, 8 and 9 results, followed by total results over 9 weeks:

We’re all using aliases to prevent being “Google Searched” as we don’t want any clients or even personal friends knowing our business.  Not to mention ruthless recruiters bothering us.

Week 9 Commentary

Howard Stern is slaughtering everyone.  He submitted $50,000 over the last 3 weeks and has submitted a total of $156,146 on 77 applications over the last 9 weeks.  Unless he stops selling over the next 4 weeks, he’s got the MacBook Pro locked up.

Norfolk’n Chance is hot on Howard Stern’s tail with 28 applications over the last 3 weeks.  This ties Howard Stern’s app count, just with less premium submitted.  Great work guys.

My Boy Blue and Hurricane had a great last 3 weeks as well with Hurricane submitting $25k.  I Drink Coffee submitted over $25k as well over the last 3 weeks.  Well done gents.

We’re 2/3 of the way through the competition and in 9 weeks, 9 agents have submitted over $550k!  Pretty awesome when you consider the fact that we rely on our own marketing and not any lead vendors.

An Update on Me

I’m Victorious Secret and apped out 1 case for $1500.  This was a re-write from someone I wrote 2 years ago who wanted to add coverage.

As you can tell, I’m phasing myself completely out of production mode and delegating my referral sources to agents within my agency.  I’m concentrating on developing other referral sources, developing new online marketing campaigns and optimizing current ones.  This will bring more opportunity to myself and agents that work with me as I’m an open book in sharing my successful marketing campaigns and pass that knowledge on to agents.

I’ve also brought on board the life insurance agent that trained me at a call center 4 years ago.  This guy has over 3,000 life insurance policies on the books and will be working with agents full time now.  He’ll be featured here on selltermlife.com very soon and will let me work with more agents (we currently aren’t taking new agents as of today unless there’s special circumstances).

Make sure you visit these 2 website’s summaries as well:

For Pinney’s update on the competition, click here.
For Chris Huntley’s update on the competion, visit his hubpage for the competition.

The cool thing about this competition is every single lead source from the production above are from sources built by independent life insurance agents (websites, media buying, referrals, social media outreach).   Look at the numbers we’re all putting up – it’s all from our own efforts.   So make sure you subscribe to my e-mail newsletter and check out Chris Huntley’s hubpage for how-to’s and other training on how we do this.  We both are publishing tips to help agents in their business.

For those that don’t know – we’re all using Pinney Insurance as our IMO who is tracking these results.   All of the agents in this contest are using Pinney’s EZlife platform.  This allows us to focus on marketing and sales and let them take care of the processing side – application signatures, exam scheduling, case management, underwriting and even retrieving delivery requirements.  I know I couldn’t do it without them.

Lastly – a huge thanks to Banner Life Insurance who is sponsoring this competition.  Looks like we sent 78 apps their way which is an easy thing to do since they’re so competitive in many situations.
